Week 3, Term 2

Welcome to week 3 Prep Green families. This week is extremely busy with Parent Teacher interviews. The interviews will go for 15 minutes and a bell will ring over the loud speaker once the 15 minutes is up. This is a great chance to catch up and see how your child is progressing academically and socially.

This week, the children will begin their reading program. This involves the children being given a home reader each week with level based activities attached to it. I will go through this explicitly in the parent teacher interviews. The readers will be given out on a Monday and returned to school on the Friday. Your child will only receive one reader per week.

A reminder that KIT folders need to be returned everyday to school. Please make sure you take out the notes in the KIT Folder and check your child's communication book each day. A reminder that if there are changes to your child's pick up arrangements, please let me know. Thank you to those parents who have already done this.

A big thank you to every family who donated to our school Project Compassion campaign. It was incredible to know that our students participated in raising over $2000!

Thursday - PE, Music

Friday - Celebration of letters

Don't forget that Monday May 7th is a public holiday and there will be no school.
