Welcome to Week 4 Prep Green Families,
As you will all know, last week Mr Gallen sent home a letter regarding me leaving and the children getting a new teacher for the last 4 1/2 weeks of the term. I thank you all for your understanding and I appreciate all of the kind e-mails and letters of congratulations. My last day will be Tuesday November 6th (Melbourne Cup). As I know a lot of the children will be a bit anxious about the change, the new teacher will be coming in on Friday to spend the day with myself and the children to ensure the routine/structure will remain similar. Any questions you have, please don't hesitate to contact myself or administration.
This week we have our assembly! I cannot begin to tell you how excited Prep Green are to show you our special presentation. Assembly will start at 2:20pm in Siena Hall. If you cannot make it, we will be filming it and putting it on our Twitter Page. We hope you can come and celebrate this joyous occasion with us! Don't forget your coloured shirt on the day! Please continue to practice your child's reading part with them.
On Wednesday, we will be celebrating All Saints Day with a whole school mass starting at 9am in Siena Hall. We would love for you to come and share this holy day with St. Bernardine's.
This Week:
Monday - PE and Music. All Prep teachers will be out from 12pm.
Tuesday - School Banking
Wednesday - Whole school mass 9am, Library borrowing, PREP GREEN ASSEMBLY!!!!
Thursday - PE and Music
Friday - Meet our new Prep Green teacher!
Thank you again to all the parents that sent in World Teacher Day gifts. The greatest gift I have is sharing your child's first year of school and being their teacher.
Have a lovely week!
Miss Ritchie xx
