Week 2, Term 4

Welcome to Week 2!

Prep Green had a fabulous start to the term. We have been working so hard to improve on our reading and focusing on our writing.

Please remember that next Monday October 22nd is a student free day! The teachers will be at CTJ Day while the children enjoy a well deserved long weekend.

Our assembly is now in Week 4 (Wednesday October 31st) at 2:20pm. A note will be sent home today regarding our outfits. We will be focusing on the song "I can sing a Rainbow" and each child will be wearing a different coloured ssigned shirt. Big W and Kmart sell plain children's shirts for $3. This is not compulsory and is completely understandable if you do not want to purchase a shirt for your child.

This week we will begin the year one transition. On Tuesday the children will go to Piazza to eat lunch and then play in Jimbelung. We will slowly increase the days each week until the end of term where the children will be playing in the year1/2 area for the entire week.

Today we will be welcoming our student teacher Miss Dale full time for the next two weeks. Miss Dale is learning how to be a teacher and the children are doing a wonderful job supporting her on her education journey.

If you have not brought back your child's portfolio please bring it back asap.

Wednesday: Library borrowing, Assembly (now starting at 2:20pm)

Thursday: PE and Music

Friday: Consolidating our learning
