Welcome to Week 5 Prep Green Families!

I hope all of the special ladies had a fabulous Mother's Day and you were spoilt by your little ones! We had a wonderful week last week celebrating our mothers. It was so beautiful to hear of all of the different reasons why your children love you. The children were so excited for Mother's Day that we had a count down in the classroom. Whilst some said "Happy Mother's Day" to everyone they came across (including themselves) it was evident how important you are to your children' lives. Thank you to everyone that attended the Mother's Day liturgy on Friday!

A reminder that if your child arrives to school after the morning bell that they need to go to the office to be signed in. Our classroom rolls are marked as soon as the children enter the classroom. We strongly encourage independence in Prep, with this in mind, please drop your child at the entrance to the Prep Area (if late) and say goodbye. It is important that your child carries and unpacks their own bag each day. This also allows for an easy transition for your child to begin their day.

As the days are beginning to become cooler, more children are wearing their jumpers and track pants to school. Please ensure these are clearly named to prevent any misplaced items. If you have purchased a second hand jumper, please cross out the old name and put your child's name on it.

We have another busy week in Prep so please make sure your little one is getting enough sleep as we begin assessment.
