Week 10, Term 2

Hi Prep Green Families! Welcome to Week 10!

We have a very busy next two weeks so please pay special attention to the information below.

This has been a very exhausting and long term for our preppies and they are powering through like superstars. Our littles ones need a little extra help when they are exhausted so please ensure they are having down time when they get home from school and going to bed extra early.

On Tuesday this week we have school photos. Please make sure that if you haven't already returned your photo form to school that you return it before Tuesday. The photographs are best ordered online, however; you can pay with cash in your child's envelope (must be the correct amount).

Prep classes go first to get their photo taken and we start straight after morning messages. Please make sure you drop your child off on time on Tuesday as we can't wait for any late comers due to the tight and strict schedule of the photo day. A teacher is on duty from 8:15am so you are welcome to drop your child off earlier.

Please make sure you have returned your child's permission slip to attend our upcoming excursion to Loan Pine Sanctuary on Tuesday 26th June.

On Monday June 15th we will be having our annual St. Bernardine's Athletics Carnival. This is an all day event. Families are most welcome to come and watch. Please be aware that your child will not be with me during the day as we are split amongst house colours. Your child will be with at least 2 prep staff both of whom they are all familiar with. Our boys and girls are very excited for this day and have been preparing for weeks in P.E.

We will be sending home notices of anyone who has lost home readers or library books. If you cannot find your child's library book please pop in and see one of our lovely library ladies to organise this.

Over the next 2 weeks we will be consolidating all of our letters, sounds, diagraphs, numbers that we have learned this semester. The children will also be completing their final assessments for the term.
