Term 3, Week 2

Good afternoon Prep Green Families and welcome to week 2!

We had a wonderful week last week settling back into school life. The children did a fabulous job getting back into their daily routine.

This week we have a very exciting week celebrating "Grandparents Day!" The children are so excited to celebrate in the church on Wednesday. The mass will begin at 9am followed by morning tea down in Prep. Please bring a plate of food to share. These plates can be dropped off outside the prep area on Wednesday from 8:20am. There will be tables set up for the food to be placed on.

The children will have the opportunity to bring their grandparents into the classroom and show them how Prep works at St. Bernardine's. If you haven't sent through a photo of your child's grandparents to Miss Kelly, she has extended the closing date to tomorrow afternoon. Please review the previous twitter posts for more information.

This semester we will be having a student teacher joining Prep Green. Miss Dale is in her first year of university and is very excited about becoming a teacher. My role is to guide her into understanding how a prep classroom works and she will be teaching small lessons to our class under my guidance. Miss Dale will be sending home a letter this week introducing herself to your families. She will be here every Tuesday until the end of term 3 and then 2 full weeks in term 4. Prep Green have loved getting to know her and are very excited to welcome Miss Dale to St. Bernardine's.
